Vladimir TurboMegaStar Bazhin is an artist and rock musician who works at the intersection of visual art and musical thinking. His works combine elements of Art Brut, primitivist minimalism, and abstract calligraphy, creating a recognizable language of signs, symbols, and conventional portraits.
Using acrylics, markers, pastels, and digital media, the artist strives for maximum expressiveness with minimal means. The faces in his works are assembled from several gestures and strokes, where each line retains the energy of living movement.
The musical experience has a significant impact on the structure of the images. The lines develop as visual phrases, and the compositions are constructed through rhythm, accents, and pauses.
