My name is Valeria Amelina, and I’m an artist from Moscow. My interest in art emerged in childhood and was largely shaped by the creative environment in my family: my mother works in the field of design.
From 2017 to 2020, I studied at the V. F. Stozharov Children’s Art School. During my studies, I worked with watercolour and gouache, used acrylic paints and graphic materials, and studied sculpture and art history. My academic works have been featured in Russian exhibitions.
Currently, I am pursuing my education at RANEPA in the field of “Advertising and Public Relations,” while continuing to develop my painting skills in parallel.
In my works, I most often draw inspiration from nature, flowers, landscapes, animals, and abstract images. I mainly work with acrylic and watercolor on canvas and paper. I am drawn to impressionism, the emotional power of color, and decorative art.
My sources of inspiration are travels, memories, and randomly noticed images. In painting, what matters most to me is the mood and the emotion — the feeling of summer, romance, light, and the beauty of the moment.
My artistic perspective has been influenced by Claude Monet, Karl Bryullov, Gustav Klimt, and Katsushika Hokusai, as well as by the architecture of 19th‑century Paris, historical fashion, and the aesthetics of past eras. In addition to painting, I am interested in art history, interior design, fashion, and travel.
Today, I continue to develop my own artistic language and want to gradually turn my long‑standing passion for art into a professional creative activity.
