I. Petrovichev, N. Ya. Belyanin, and V. N. Baksheev. From 1947, he worked at the art studio in Sergiev Posad. From 1950, he was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He worked as a monumental artist and designer. His frescoes became an organic part of the interior of the Moscow Machine Tool Institute: “The Peaceful Atom”; he also created the stained-glass work “The First Cosmonaut” and paintings made using woodburning. The artist was also a master of landscape and still life. But portraiture occupied the central place in his work, deeply reflecting a person’s inner world and spiritual essence. Each portrait conveys the uniqueness of the individual, revealing the person’s character and intellect. The artist lived from 1921 to 1990.
